Who am I?


Some days, I’m amazed by how far I’ve come. I now live a peaceful, fulfilling life where I feel aligned, grounded, and true to myself. But it wasn’t always this way.

In my younger years, I was constantly in survival mode—ready to fight, flee, or fall apart. People misunderstood me, often seeing someone cold or distant, when really, I was guarded, overwhelmed, and doing my best to hold it all together. Life threw me some heavy challenges: the sudden loss of my father, becoming the emotional anchor for my family, and staying too long in a relationship that drained my spirit. The weight of it all showed up physically—insomnia, anxiety, aches, and chronic stress.

Back then, I didn’t have the tools to navigate it. I carried guilt and self-blame, convinced I had no other option but to keep surviving or numb the pain. But when the choice became crystal clear—either continue on that path or rewrite the story—I chose transformation.

Through guidance, support, and deep self-reflection, I reconnected with my inner strength. I stepped into single motherhood, launched a meaningful career, and even ran a farm with two kids in tow. (Yes, really!) I cultivated simple, powerful daily habits—like yoga, meditation, and nervous system regulation—that helped me build resilience from the inside out. Over time, I didn’t just heal—I evolved.

This growth journey inspired my professional pivot. In 2013, I went back to school, became a counsellor, and launched my own practice. But my approach goes far beyond traditional talk therapy. As a counsellor, and wellness guide, I bring together science-backed tools and somatic practices that help you regulate your nervous system, reconnect with your body’s wisdom, and move toward real, lasting change.

When your mind and body feel safe, you can make empowered decisions, deepen your self-trust, and show up fully in your life. Your nervous system is your superpower—and I’m here to help you harness it.
